Preparation and Frame Assembly
The first step in assembling aluminum alloy windows is thorough preparation, just like checking all the parts before building with blocks. First, check that all profiles, hardware, and glass dimensions match. Then, assemble the frame according to the following steps:
Tap the joints between the horizontal and vertical frames lightly with a rubber mallet to ensure a tight 45° angle cut.
Place the drainage hole sealing strip first, then tighten the corner bracket screws. Incorrect order will cause leaks.
Control the diagonal measurement error within 2mm; larger errors will cause difficulty in opening and closing.
Hardware Installation and Glass Fixing
This stage is like installing joints on a robot; each component must be precisely positioned:
Pulley Positioning: After applying grease to the track groove, install the upper pulley first, then the lower one.
Handle Adjustment: Maintain a 1.5mm gap between the locking point and the locking seat. -2mm, too tight will wear down the hardware.
Glass strip: Tap it in from the middle to both ends; a "click" sound indicates it's properly in place.
Sealing: The inner and outer rubber strips should form a continuous closed loop; corners need to be pressed firmly.
Debugging, Testing, and Common Problems
The final debugging is like a test drive of a new car; all functions must be checked to ensure they work properly:
Push-pull test: A 500g weight should be hung on the handle; it should move smoothly.
Sealing test: Pulling it out with noticeable resistance after clamping an A4 sheet of paper is considered合格 (qualified).
Drainage verification: Pour 500ml of water and observe if it drains completely within 10 seconds.
Noise troubleshooting: A rustling sound from the tracks may indicate that aluminum shavings have not been properly cleaned.
