Patterned glass is a type of flat glass manufactured using a rolling process. Before the glass hardens, patterns are pressed onto one or both sides of the glass using a roller engraved with designs, resulting in patterned glass with designs on one or both sides.
The surface of patterned glass is embossed with various patterns of varying depths. Due to the uneven surface, light is diffused when it passes through, making the image of an object viewed from one side of the glass blurry. This creates the characteristic of this glass being translucent but not transparent. Furthermore, patterned glass, with its various squares, dots, diamonds, stripes, and other patterns, is very beautiful and also has excellent artistic and decorative effects.
