Specific testing items and scope for glass bottle bodies

May 15, 2026 Leave a message

This testing project primarily measures the outer diameter of specific parts of glass bottles. Specific testing objects typically include the outer diameter of key locations such as the main body diameter, shoulder diameter, and bottom support ring diameter. Depending on the product design drawings and functional requirements, it may also be necessary to measure the outer diameter at multiple points at different heights of the bottle to assess its roundness or taper.

The testing scope clearly covers various types of molded bottles and jars made of materials such as soda-lime glass and borosilicate glass, mainly for offline or online testing of the final cooled product. The testing environment must maintain a stable temperature and cleanliness to avoid interference from thermal expansion and contraction or contaminants on the measurement results. The testing locations must be strictly positioned according to the measurement reference points specified in the technical drawings.
