Material requirements for PVC windows

May 02, 2026 Leave a message

The specifications and models of PVC windows should meet the design requirements. The quality and mechanical properties of the windows should comply with current national standards and have a certificate of conformity.

The three basic physical properties of windows-wind pressure resistance, air permeability, and rainwater permeability-should meet the national standards for grading these properties and the design requirements, and a quality inspection report for that grade should be attached. This project design does not specify requirements for thermal insulation and sound insulation performance.

The models, specifications, performance, and requirements of the hardware, fasteners, reinforcing steel, and metal sub-plates used in the windows should all comply with the relevant provisions of current national standards.

The type, specifications, and quality of the glass should comply with current national product standards and have a product certificate of conformity. Tempered glass must be used for single panes of glass larger than 1.5 square meters.

The sealant between the window and the opening should be elastic and adhesive.
